Head of Equities, and Head of Trading, Americas

Gerald A. Donini is Head of Equities, and Head of Trading, Americas, at Barclays Capital, based in New York. He is a member of the firm’s Executive Committee.

Mr. Donini joined Barclays Capital in 2008 as Head of Equities. He assumed additional responsibility for Trading in the Americas in September 2010.

Prior to Barclays Capital, Mr. Donini was at Lehman Brothers for ten years. He joined in 1998 as Head of US Derivatives Trading and in 2000 was named Head of Global Derivatives Trading. From 2004 to 2007, he served as Head of US Equity Trading. In 2007, he was appointed Head of Americas Equities and served in that position until June 2008 when he was appointed Global Head of Equities.

Mr. Donini was previously with Deutsche Bank (formerly Nat West Securities) and was also with CSFB and O’Connor & Associates, where he began his career.

He holds a BA in Economics from Brown University.
